About the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary
Launched in 1988 to celebrate Lamborghini's silver anniversary, the 25th Anniversary was the final and most refined iteration of the Countach. While the mechanicals were largely carried over from the 5000 QV, the bodywork was extensively redesigned by a young Horacio Pagani, featuring straked air intakes and integrated bumpers that improved cooling and aerodynamics. It offered a more ergonomic interior with power-adjustable seats and improved air conditioning, making it the most 'usable' Countach. Despite the controversial styling changes, it became the most successful variant by production volume, marking the end of the wedge-era before the Diablo took over.
