About the Jaguar XJR-15
Developed by JaguarSport, a joint venture between Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR), the XJR-15 is essentially a road-legal version of the Le Mans-winning XJR-9. It holds the distinction of being the first production road car constructed entirely from carbon fibre and Kevlar composites. The 6.0-litre V12 is a stressed member of the chassis, delivering a raw, visceral driving experience that closely mimics a Group C racer. While the XJ220 followed shortly after with more refinement, the XJR-15 remains the purist's choice for its uncompromising motorsport heritage and naturally aspirated soundtrack.
