About the Jaguar XJR-S
The XJR-S was the flagship of the JaguarSport venture, a 50/50 collaboration between Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR). Unlike the standard XJS, the XJR-S featured a bespoke 6.0-litre V12 hand-built at TWR’s Bloxham facility, utilizing a forged steel crankshaft and Zytek sequential fuel injection. It is distinguished by its aggressive TWR body kit, 16-inch Speedline wheels, and a significantly uprated suspension with Bilstein dampers. On the road, it offers a more focused, muscular driving experience than the standard car, bridging the gap between a luxury GT and a true performance machine.
