About the Jaguar XFR X250
Launched for the 2010 model year, the XFR was the high-performance pinnacle of the X250 generation, replacing the 4.2-litre SV8. It introduced the AJ-V8 Gen III engine, a 5.0-litre unit equipped with a twin-vortex supercharger that allowed it to challenge the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Designed by Ian Callum, the XFR moved Jaguar away from retro-styling into a contemporary era of sleek, coupe-like silhouettes and innovative interiors featuring rotating air vents. It is praised by collectors for its 'dual-personality'—offering refined luxury at cruising speeds and aggressive, tail-happy performance when pushed.
