About the Hyundai Mistra CF
The Hyundai Mistra (CF) was developed by the Beijing Hyundai joint venture specifically for the Chinese market to occupy the space between the Elantra and the Sonata. Launched in late 2013, it prioritised rear-seat legroom and a conservative, premium aesthetic to appeal to young families and professionals. The 1.8-litre Nu engine was the volume-selling powertrain, offering a balance of efficiency and adequate performance for urban commuting. It was never officially exported to Western markets, making it a region-specific curiosity for global Hyundai collectors.
