About the Hyundai Dynasty
The Hyundai Dynasty was introduced in 1996 as the brand's flagship luxury saloon, positioned above the Grandeur. It was developed to compete with premium imports in the South Korean market and served as the official transport for high-ranking executives and government officials. The 3.0-litre V6 model featured electronically controlled suspension and a focus on rear-passenger comfort, including power-adjustable rear seats. While it shares its platform with the second-generation Mitsubishi Debonair, the Dynasty featured a distinct, more traditional upright grille and elongated body.
