About the Honda City Turbo II AA
Introduced in 1983, the City Turbo II was the ultimate evolution of Honda's first-generation City (AA). Nicknamed the 'Bulldog' for its aggressive wide-body stance and flared wheel arches, it featured an intercooled version of the 1.2-litre ER engine. It was technologically advanced for its era, utilizing an 8-bit PGM-FI fuel injection system and a 'Scramble Boost' function that increased turbo pressure for ten seconds at full throttle. The car is famously associated with the optional Motocompo folding scooter, which was designed to fit perfectly in the boot for 'last-mile' urban commuting.
