About the Ford Mustang Dark Horse S650

The Dark Horse is the performance flagship of the seventh-generation 'S650' Mustang, designed to bridge the gap between the GT and track-only variants. It features a specially tuned Gen-4 Coyote V8 with forged piston connecting rods and a unique intake system to reach the 500 hp milestone. Chassis upgrades include MagneRide adaptive damping, heavy-duty front springs, and a Torsen limited-slip differential as standard. While it remains a heavy muscle car, the inclusion of a Tremec manual transmission and enhanced cooling makes it the most track-capable factory Mustang outside of the Shelby line.
