About the Ford Model T
Ford sold the Model T from 1908 to 1927 and made personal motoring affordable on a previously unprecedented scale. This representative Touring car uses a simple four-cylinder engine and a pedal-operated planetary transmission, which takes practice for a modern driver. High ground clearance and compliant suspension suited the rough roads of the period more than outright speed. Condition and body style vary greatly among surviving examples.
