About the Ford Anglia 105E

The Ford Anglia 105E was a revolutionary departure for Ford of Britain, replacing the antiquated side-valve 100E with a modern, American-influenced design. Its most distinctive feature is the reverse-rake rear window, which kept the glass clear in rain and maximised rear headroom. Under the bonnet, it introduced the 'Kent' engine family, an oversquare overhead-valve unit that became a legend in both road cars and motorsport. The Deluxe trim added essential 1960s flair, including a full-width chrome grille and side strips, making it a quintessential British classic that remains highly collectable today.
