About the Fiat Toro
Launched in 2016, the Fiat Toro introduced the 'Sport Utility Pick-up' (SUP) concept to the South American market, blending SUV comfort with truck utility. Built on the Small Wide 4x4 platform shared with the Jeep Renegade, it features a unibody construction that provides car-like handling and refinement. The 2.0 MultiJet turbodiesel variant is the most capable in the range, offering a one-tonne payload capacity and a distinctive split-opening 'barn door' tailgate. While primarily sold in Brazil and Argentina, its success led to it being rebadged as the Ram 1000 in other Latin American markets.
