About the Fiat Stilo
Launched in 2001 to replace the Bravo and Brava, the Fiat Stilo was a bold attempt to challenge the Volkswagen Golf with class-leading technology and a modular platform. The five-door variant, like this 1.6 Dynamic, featured a taller, MPV-like roofline and sliding rear seats to prioritise practicality over the three-door's sportier styling. Despite offering advanced features for its time, such as adaptive cruise control and keyless entry, the Stilo suffered from complex electrical issues and conservative styling that failed to resonate with buyers. Today, it is remembered as a significant financial failure for Fiat, though it remains a spacious and occasionally well-equipped budget classic.
