About the Fiat Doblo

The second-generation Fiat Doblò, launched in 2010, moved away from its predecessor's quirky looks toward a more mature, albeit still utilitarian, design. Built on a platform shared with the Punto, it notably featured a bi-link independent rear suspension, a rarity in the segment that provided a significantly more composed ride than its leaf-sprung rivals. The 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine was the efficiency leader of the range, offering respectable low-end torque for urban duties despite its small displacement. It remains a popular choice for those needing maximum interior volume and sliding-door practicality on a budget.
