About the Fiat 519

The Fiat 519 was a flagship luxury model designed to compete with the world's finest automobiles, featuring an advanced overhead-valve inline-six engine. The 'S' variant was the sportier, short-wheelbase version, distinguished by its striking V-shaped radiator and more aerodynamic torpedo bodywork. It was technically sophisticated for its era, boasting hydraulically assisted four-wheel drum brakes and an adjustable steering column. Today, it is exceptionally rare, with only one genuine short-wheelbase 519 S Torpedo known to have survived into the 21st century.
