About the Ferrari Mondial
The Mondial 3.2, introduced in 1985, represented a significant performance upgrade for Ferrari's four-seater mid-engined range by adopting the 3.2-litre Quattrovalvole V8 from the 328. It featured cleaner styling with body-coloured bumpers and a more refined interior compared to the earlier 8 and QV models. As a 2+2, it offered a level of usability rare for a mid-engined exotic, though the rear seats are best suited for children. While long undervalued, the 3.2 is now appreciated for its balanced handling, gated manual gearshift, and relatively accessible maintenance thanks to its removable rear subframe.
