About the Dodge Ramcharger
The third-generation Dodge Ramcharger is a unique piece of Mopar history, produced and sold exclusively in Mexico. Built on a shortened Ram pickup chassis, it features a distinctive two-door SUV body style that was largely phased out in the US market by the late 1990s. It shares its front-end styling and 'Magnum' V8 powertrain with the contemporary Ram 1500, while the rear hatch and glass were adapted from the Dodge Caravan. Because it was never officially exported to the US or Europe, it has become a sought-after import for American truck collectors.
