About the De Tomaso P72
The De Tomaso P72 is a striking tribute to the 1965 P70 prototype, a collaboration between Alejandro de Tomaso and Carroll Shelby. Built on a bespoke carbon-fibre monocoque, it eschews modern digital trends for a purely analogue experience, featuring a gated manual shifter and jewel-like instrumentation. The mid-mounted, Roush-tuned Ford V8 is supercharged to deliver a linear, naturally aspirated character while providing modern performance. Its design is defined by voluptuous curves, a bubble canopy, and intricate copper and rose-gold detailing, positioning it as a piece of rolling sculpture for the modern era.
