About the Citroën Dispatch Mk1
The first-generation Citroën Dispatch, known as the Jumpy in mainland Europe, was a product of the Sevel Nord joint venture between PSA and Fiat. Launched in 1994 and facelifted in 2004, it bridged the gap between small car-derived vans and larger commercial vehicles. The 2.0 HDi engine introduced common-rail technology to the range, offering significantly better refinement and torque than the earlier naturally aspirated diesels. It was highly regarded for its car-like driving position and compact dimensions, which made it ideal for urban deliveries.
