About the BMW X5 G05
The G05 X5 launched in 2018 as the fourth generation of BMW’s original Sports Activity Vehicle. The early xDrive30d combines a single-turbo straight-six diesel with an eight-speed automatic and rear-biased all-wheel drive. Its broad torque delivery favours relaxed long-distance travel rather than high-rev theatrics. This entry represents the original 265 PS diesel specification, not the later mild-hybrid revision.
