About the BMW M6 E63
The E63 M6 is defined by its S85 V10 engine, a high-revving masterpiece developed during BMW's involvement in Formula 1. Sharing its mechanical DNA with the E60 M5, the M6 Coupé features a carbon-fibre roof to lower its centre of gravity and a more aggressive stance than the standard 6 Series. While the SMG-III transmission was often criticised for its low-speed jerkiness, it was designed to handle the engine's 8,250 rpm redline and rapid shifts at full throttle. As one of the last naturally aspirated M cars, it has become a sought-after modern classic for its unique soundtrack and linear power delivery.
