About the Chevrolet Corvette C8
Introduced for the 2020 model year, the C8 was the first series-production mid-engined Corvette. The base Stingray pairs a naturally aspirated LT2 V8 with a dual-clutch gearbox; the engine behind the occupants changes its balance and makes traction a defining strength. Its removable roof panel keeps the coupé open-air capable without requiring a convertible. Right-hand-drive production also opened up official UK sales for the first time.
