About the BMW M2 CS F87
The BMW M2 CS represents the pinnacle of the first-generation M2, featuring the S55 engine from the M4 Competition. It is distinguished by extensive use of carbon fibre, including a unique vented bonnet, roof, and aero components that reduce weight and lower the centre of gravity. Unlike many modern performance cars, it retained a standard six-speed manual gearbox, though a seven-speed DCT was optional. With its short wheelbase and mechanical limited-slip differential, it is widely regarded by collectors as one of the best-handling M cars of the modern era.
