About the BMW 2002

The 2002 tii is the most celebrated naturally aspirated variant of the BMW 02 Series, bridging the gap between the standard 2002 and the rare Turbo. Its defining feature is the Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection system, which provides sharp throttle response and a significant power boost over carburetted models. Beyond the engine, the tii received upgraded suspension, larger brakes, and wider wheels to handle the increased performance. It is widely credited with establishing the 'sports sedan' blueprint that would eventually evolve into the BMW 3 Series.
