About the Audi RS e-tron GT
Launched in 2021, the RS e-tron GT is Audi's high-performance interpretation of the J1 platform shared with the Porsche Taycan. It features a dual-motor setup with a unique two-speed rear transmission, allowing for both explosive off-the-line acceleration and efficient high-speed cruising. As the first electric Audi to be built at the Böllinger Höfe plant alongside the R8, it represents a significant shift toward electrification for the RS brand. The car is praised for its striking design, sophisticated air suspension, and a driving character that prioritises grand touring comfort over raw track focus.
