About the Mercedes-AMG EQE 53
The Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ serves as the high-performance flagship of the EQE saloon range, effectively acting as the electric successor to the E 63. Built on the dedicated EVA2 platform, it features two AMG-specific motors that provide instantaneous torque and a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. While it lacks the V8 soundtrack of its predecessors, it compensates with a sophisticated Airmatic air suspension and rear-axle steering that masks its significant 2.5-tonne kerb weight. The interior is dominated by the optional MBUX Hyperscreen, creating a futuristic cockpit that defines the modern AMG experience.
