About the Alpine A610

The A610 was the final model to carry the Alpine name before the marque's 22-year hiatus, representing a significant mechanical overhaul of the preceding GTA. While it retained the iconic silhouette and rear-engine layout, it featured a stiffer chassis, pop-up headlights, and a larger 3.0-litre PRV V6 engine. The A610 was positioned as a more refined, luxury-oriented competitor to the Porsche 911, offering standard ABS and air conditioning. Despite critical acclaim for its balanced handling and impressive high-speed stability, high production costs and a shrinking market led to just 818 units being built.
