About the Alfa Romeo Spider Series 4
The Series 4 was the final iteration of the classic Alfa Romeo Spider, a design that had remained in production for nearly three decades. Pininfarina modernised the car by removing the 1980s rubber spoilers in favour of clean, body-coloured bumpers and a full-width rear light cluster inspired by the 164 saloon. Mechanically, it retained the legendary twin-cam engine, now equipped with Bosch Motronic fuel injection for improved reliability and smoother power delivery. It offers a vintage driving experience with a more civilised interior, including power steering and a driver-side airbag, making it the most usable of the classic Spiders.
