About the Alfa Romeo 20/30 HP
The 20/30 HP was the final evolution of the original A.L.F.A. 24 HP design by Giuseppe Merosi before the company was rebranded under Nicola Romeo. Introduced in 1914, it featured a robust 4.1-litre sidevalve engine and was available in both Berlina and Torpedo body styles. Production was interrupted by World War I, with many chassis completed only after the conflict ended. It is historically significant as the bridge between the early A.L.F.A. era and the birth of the Alfa Romeo brand, eventually evolving into the 20/30 ES Sport.
