About the Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina
Introduced in 1968, the 1750 Berlina was designed to sit above the Giulia in Alfa Romeo's range, offering more space and refinement while retaining the brand's sporting DNA. It utilized a lengthened version of the Giulia chassis and the celebrated 1779cc twin-cam engine, which provided significantly more torque than the smaller 1600 unit. The styling, handled by Bertone, was understated yet elegant, characterized by its four-headlight front end and balanced proportions. It is highly regarded by collectors today for its excellent handling, five-speed gearbox, and four-wheel disc brakes, which were advanced for the era.
