About the Acura TLX UB1
Launched for the 2015 model year, the Acura TLX (UB1) was designed to replace both the compact TSX and the mid-sized TL, streamlining Acura's sedan lineup. The 2.4-litre variant features a high-revving K24W7 engine paired with a unique 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that incorporates a torque converter for smoother low-speed operation. It debuted Acura's Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS) system, which independently adjusts rear-wheel toe angles to improve agility and high-speed stability. While less powerful than the V6, the 2.4 is praised for its lighter front end and more playful handling characteristics.
