About the Acura ILX

Launched for the 2013 model year, the Acura ILX 2.4 served as the performance-oriented entry in Acura's new compact luxury line-up. It borrowed the high-revving K24Z7 engine and close-ratio six-speed manual transmission from the contemporary Honda Civic Si, making it the only ILX variant at launch to offer a manual gearbox. While based on the ninth-generation Civic platform, it featured a unique interior and 'Amplitude Reactive' dampers to provide a more refined ride. It remains a niche choice for enthusiasts seeking a practical daily driver with a traditional mechanical connection.
