About the Volvo P1800

The Volvo P1800 S represents the peak of the model's Swedish-built era, moving production from Jensen in the UK to Gothenburg in 1963. Styled by Pelle Petterson under the guidance of Pietro Frua, it combined Italian flair with Volvo's legendary mechanical robustness. The 1966 model year benefited from a power increase to 115 bhp, making it a more capable grand tourer. It is famously associated with Roger Moore in 'The Saint' and holds the world record for the highest mileage ever recorded by a private vehicle.
