About the Volkswagen CC

The Volkswagen CC, originally launched as the Passat CC, received a significant facelift for the 2013 model year, dropping the 'Passat' prefix to distance itself from its more utilitarian sibling. It features a sleek, sweeping roofline and frameless windows, designed to compete with premium executive cars like the Mercedes-Benz CLS. The 2013 update introduced a revised front and rear design, standard bi-xenon headlights, and a new three-person rear bench seat, addressing a common criticism of the original four-seat layout. While it shares its MQB-precursor PQ46 platform with the Passat, the CC offers a firmer, more composed ride and a significantly more upscale interior finish.

Volkswagen CC fun facts
