About the Vauxhall Antara

The Vauxhall Antara was a mid-sized SUV developed by GM Korea and shared its Theta platform with the Chevrolet Captiva. The 2012 facelift introduced the 2.2-litre CDTi engine, which significantly improved refinement and power over the earlier 2.0-litre units. In SE trim, the Antara offered a high level of standard equipment including leather seats and 19-inch alloy wheels. While it provided a comfortable ride and decent towing capacity, it struggled to compete with more agile rivals in the European market.
