About the Triumph TR3

The Triumph TR3A is the definitive 'sidescreen' TR, distinguished by its wide front grille and exterior door handles. It evolved from the TR2 and TR3, retaining the rugged separate chassis and torquey wet-liner engine that made the series a motorsport staple. As the first British series-production car to offer front disc brakes as standard, it provided stopping power that few contemporaries could match. Its raw, wind-in-the-hair driving experience and simple mechanicals have cemented its status as a cornerstone of the classic British sports car movement.
