About the Toyota Urban Cruiser XP110
The Toyota Urban Cruiser was introduced to the European market as a compact crossover-styled hatchback based on the XP110 series Toyota Ist. Positioned below the RAV4, it aimed to capture the growing market for small SUVs while maintaining the footprint of a supermini. The 1.33-litre VVT-i petrol engine features Toyota's 'Optimal Drive' technology, including a Stop & Start system to improve fuel efficiency in city traffic. While it features chunky, off-road inspired styling, the petrol variant was exclusively front-wheel drive in the UK market.
