About the Toyota Corolla Verso AR10
The second-generation Corolla Verso (AR10) was a significant departure from its predecessor, designed in France specifically for the European market. It introduced the 'Easy Flat-7' seating system, allowing all five rear seats to be folded flush into the floor without removal, a class-leading innovation at the time. The 2.0 D-4D variant utilised the reliable 1CD-FTV engine, offering a balance of torque and fuel efficiency suited for long-distance family travel. While not a performance vehicle, its five-star Euro NCAP safety rating and robust build quality made it a staple of the compact MPV segment until it was succeeded by the standalone Toyota Verso.
