About the Toyota Aygo AB10
The first-generation Toyota Aygo was the result of the B-Zero project, a joint venture between Toyota and PSA Peugeot Citroën. Built in the Czech Republic alongside its siblings, the Citroën C1 and Peugeot 107, it focused on reducing weight and complexity to provide affordable urban transport. The 2009 facelift introduced minor styling tweaks and improved engine efficiency to meet tightening emissions standards. Its characterful three-cylinder engine and nimble handling made it a favourite for city dwellers and first-time drivers alike.
