Toro Rosso STR2
Toro Rosso's Ferrari-powered take on the Red Bull RB3, challenged all year by rivals as a customer car.
About the Toro Rosso STR2
Unveiled at the Circuit de Catalunya in February 2007, the STR2 was a version of the Red Bull RB3 design from Red Bull Technology, fitted with 2006-specification Ferrari 056 V8s to save costs. Spyker and Williams argued that it broke the Concorde Agreement's requirement for teams to build their own chassis. Its weakness, shared with the RB3, was the new seamless-shift gearbox, and results were generally poor before Sebastian Vettel replaced Scott Speed alongside Vitantonio Liuzzi from Hungary. Reliability improved later in the year, and in China Vettel finished fourth and Liuzzi sixth, giving the team eight points and seventh place after McLaren's exclusion. An STR2B with the 2008 standard ECU ran the first five races of 2008 for Vettel and Sébastien Bourdais.

The Toro Rosso STR2 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 0 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works
