About the Toro Rosso STR14

The STR14 was the last car designed under technical director James Key before his move to McLaren, and it used the full rear end and parts of the front suspension from the Red Bull RB15, together with Honda's RA619H power unit. Daniil Kvyat was joined by debutant Alexander Albon, who was promoted to Red Bull after the Hungarian Grand Prix as Pierre Gasly returned to Toro Rosso. Kvyat took a podium in a chaotic German Grand Prix and Gasly finished second in Brazil, the team's first podiums since 2008. Toro Rosso finished sixth in the Constructors' Championship with 85 points, its best tally, before the team was renamed AlphaTauri.
