About the Toro Rosso STR10
Toro Rosso's 2015 car was designed under technical director James Key and powered by Renault's Energy F1-2015 V6 turbo hybrid, driving through a Red Bull Technology gearbox. It was driven by Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz, who replaced Daniil Kvyat and Jean-Éric Vergne. An extensively revised version with a shorter nose, new aerodynamics and new suspension arrived for the final pre-season test, and Key described it as the 'real' racecar. The STR10 scored 67 points, including fourth places for Verstappen in Hungary and the United States, and Toro Rosso finished seventh in the Constructors' Championship, 11 points behind Lotus.
