About the Toro Rosso STR13
The STR13 was Scuderia Toro Rosso's first Honda-powered car, created after Toro Rosso gave up its Renault supply so that McLaren could take it, and formed a works partnership with Honda running to 2021. Honda's RA618H ran without trouble in the first Barcelona test, where Toro Rosso topped the mileage charts. Pierre Gasly converted sixth on the grid into fourth place in Bahrain, Honda's best result since returning in 2015, and Honda's progress helped persuade Red Bull Racing to sign an engine deal for 2019. The team scored only 33 points across the season, however, and finished ninth in the Constructors' Championship.
