About the Suzuki Across
The Suzuki Across is a mid-sized plug-in hybrid SUV resulting from a collaborative agreement between Suzuki and Toyota. Essentially a rebadged Toyota RAV4 PHEV, it features a unique front fascia with a larger hexagonal grille and slimmer LED headlights to distinguish it from its donor. It utilizes Toyota's sophisticated E-Four electronic 4x4 system, pairing a 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle engine with two electric motors for a combined 302 hp. The 18.1kWh battery provides one of the longest electric-only ranges in its class, often exceeding 45 miles in real-world conditions. While sold in a single high-specification trim, its premium positioning makes it the most expensive and powerful model in Suzuki's European line-up.
