About the SEAT 133
The SEAT 133 was developed by SEAT in Spain as a replacement for the ageing 600 and 850 models, filling a gap before the arrival of the Panda. While it borrowed the rear-engine chassis and water-cooled engine from the Fiat 850, its exterior styling was heavily influenced by the smaller Fiat 126. The 'L' (Lujo) trim featured enhanced interior appointments and wrap-around plastic bumpers, which were modern for the mid-1970s. It remains a rare sight outside of Spain, representing a unique period where SEAT began to develop its own distinct identity within the Fiat ecosystem.
