About the Saab 9-3 Viggen

Named after the Saab 37 Viggen fighter jet, the 9-3 Viggen was the ultimate performance expression of the first-generation 9-3. Developed with input from Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR), it featured a high-output B235R engine and a distinctive aerodynamic body kit that reduced drag by 5%. While famous for its significant torque steer and 'bonkers' power delivery through the front wheels, it remains a cult favourite for its mid-range acceleration and unique Scandinavian character. Production was limited to 4,600 units globally, all assembled by Valmet Automotive in Finland.
