About the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph
Launched at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show, the Silver Seraph was the first all-new Rolls-Royce in nearly two decades and the first developed under BMW's influence. It famously utilised the 5.4-litre M73 V12 engine and a five-speed ZF transmission, marking a departure from the traditional 6.75-litre V8. While it shared its body shell with the Bentley Arnage, the Seraph was tuned for ultimate refinement and a 'waftable' ride rather than sporting prowess. Its production was short-lived, ending in 2002 as the brand transitioned to BMW's new Goodwood facility, making it a rare and significant bridge between the classic and modern eras.
