About the Renault NN

The Renault NN, also known as the 6CV, was introduced in 1924 as a successor to the KJ and MT models, designed to compete with the Citroën Type C. It features the signature Renault 'coal scuttle' bonnet with the radiator positioned behind the engine, a layout that aided cooling and accessibility. The NN was renowned for its reliability and robust braking, being one of the first small cars to feature four-wheel drum brakes. Its simple side-valve engine and sturdy chassis made it a popular choice for both family transport and commercial use across Europe.
