About the Renault Austral

Launched in 2022 as a replacement for the Kadjar, the Renault Austral represents a significant step up in interior quality and technology for the French brand. The cabin is dominated by the 'OpenR' screen, a Google-based infotainment system that is widely considered one of the best in its class for usability. While it prioritises efficiency and urban electric-only driving, the Austral also offers agile handling, particularly when equipped with the optional 4Control four-wheel steering system.
