About the Renault 25
The Renault 25 was the French marque's flagship executive car, replacing the 20/30 series with a focus on aerodynamic efficiency and avant-garde technology. Its distinctive 'bubble' rear window, designed by Robert Opron, helped achieve a drag coefficient as low as 0.28, a record for production cars at the time. The 2.8-litre V6 variant utilised the PRV engine, providing smooth power delivery suited for long-distance cruising. Inside, it was famous for its futuristic dashboard and a voice synthesiser that provided audible alerts for vehicle functions.
