About the Nissan Sylphy G11
The G11-generation Nissan Bluebird Sylphy was designed to bridge the gap between compact and mid-size sedans, prioritising passenger comfort and interior space. Built on the Renault-Nissan B platform, it features a distinctive 'S-motion' interior design and a long wheelbase that provides rear legroom comparable to luxury cars of the era. The 2.0-litre MR20DE engine was a new addition for this generation, paired exclusively with Nissan's Xtronic CVT for smooth, efficient cruising. While it lacks the sporting character of earlier Bluebirds, its reliability and refined cabin made it a popular choice in Asian markets and a common grey import in the UK.
